Fieldstone Students Experience Hands-On Learning at Cropsey Farm

Learning came to life at the farm.

Fieldstone Middle School 7th graders got their hands dirty (in the best way) during their visit to Cropsey Farm as part of an ongoing partnership rooted in real-world learning.

From planting vegetables and exploring how a greenhouse works to connecting with the local landscape, students were fully immersed in the experience. But let’s be honest, the fan favorites were the animals! Watching students learn how to safely approach, feed, and interact with goats, pigs, and chickens was as heartwarming as it gets.

A meaningful day of learning, laughter, and community connection.
