Career Day Connects Fieldstone Students with Real-World Professionals

Clocking in for Career Day, Fieldstone Middle School students explored a wide range of professions by asking community volunteers thoughtful questions about their careers, how they got started, the challenges they’ve faced and what led them to their chosen paths. Industries represented included business and finance, education, architecture and design, law, public safety and government, healthcare and nursing, giving students a meaningful look at the many different directions their future careers could take.

Our very own North Rockland CSD Board of Education member James Kraus presented, sharing insights from his diverse career journey as a college professor, lawyer, world traveler and woodworker, and Town of Haverstraw Justice Ivonne Santos also spoke with students about her work in law and public service.
