October 2018

Dear Class of 2023 Parents and Students,

Welcome to North Rockland High School - Home of the Red Raiders!

High school is an exciting and important part of your life.  For the first time, many students will be able to make choices about courses and participate in exciting new clubs, activities and sports.

At North Rockland High School, our goal is for students to be college and career ready upon graduation in June 2023.  No matter your post-high school goals, preparing yourself during your high school years is the key to success. This transition from 8th to 9th Grade is a first important step and we are here to support you.

In the past, Dr. Gill invited 8th grade parents to North Rockland High School for a Parent Planning and Information presentation.  We understand that life is very busy and not everyone has the time for a parent meeting.  But, we want to make sure that all parents and students get the valuable information needed for a smooth high school transition.  So, in our effort to value your time, we have created a video for you to watch and a one page document with key information about North Rockland High School.

Linked to this is email are two important resources. The first is the Class of 2023 Planning and Information document.  Please take your time to read through the document and visit the links at the bottom. The second resource is the Class of 2023 Planning and Information Video.  This video was directed and  produced by our very own NRTV club and we want to thank Mr. Malora and the entire NRTV crew.  The NRTV club represents the amazing work of our North Rockland students.

Prior to watching the video, it is recommended that you print or have screen access to the Class of 2023 Planning and Information document.  We will reference information within the document throughout the video.

So, please enjoy the video.
